Security Tags and Pins
At 8 grams and the size of a ballpoint pen cap, the AG Pencil
security tag is one of the smallest reusable security tag options available.
A unique soft foam insert minimises the risk of textiles being
dimpled by the tag.
AGB Teardrop Security Tag
This security tag is fitted with a raised ring around the point of
pin entry. This gives maximum protection against attempts to
cut the pin shaft and is particularly effective when used with
a Dome Head pin.
Armor Security Tag Version
With a slightly larger dome at the back of each security tag, the premium priced Armor
version offers protection against illicitly obtained tag releasers and greater
resistance to violent attempts at security tag removal.
Dome Head and Flat Head versions may be used with each security tag
option. The Flat Head pin is lighter and more discreet. The
Dome Head pin offers greater protection against illicit pin removal
particularly when used with the AGB Teardrop security tag.
Security Tag Releasers All releasers are supplied with locks and are available
in three versions:
Fitted directly on top of a counter using security screws that
can only be removed by MAXTAG technicians.
Countersunk into the work surface for an obstruction free cash-wrap area.
Required for Armor tag versions. Can be fitted flush or surface
mount.
Support Accessories
Electronic Double Checkers
Fitted on or under the counter. This device will give a soft
beeping noise when tagged merchandise is placed over it. Used
by retailers who understand that staff occasionally forget to
remove security tags. This prevents possible customer embarrassment
when leaving the shop
Available in yellow or white with red indelible dye capsules.
Used in situations where a non-electronic solution is required.
When force is applied this security tag will release dye on to a garment
rendering it un-wearable and un-saleable.
Black plastic coated woven steel used to secure items such
as handbags, luggage, tennis rackets and so on. Available
in 100mm, 200mm and 300mm lengths.
