The Mexx multinational retail group, with shops in 41 countries from North America to Asia-Pacific, opened their shop at Bicester Outlet Village with an Xpondr™ Digital Loop security tagging system installed across the entrance.

"We have an 'open door' shop design philosophy on a truly global scale and the Bicester project is one of a series of new openings we have planned for this country and elsewhere," said a spokesman for the Retail Operations in the UK.

The Xpondr™ system is perfect for us. We need a certain level of security at all our shop locations but this will always be secondary to the open display of the latest Mexx seasonal collection. I particularly like the small AG Pencil tag. It's a good visual deterrent to theft but doesn't take the eye away from the garment on display."

MAXTAG installed the Xpondr™ Digital Loop with matt silver antenna covers, to match the shopfront style, located on the doorframe. Advance planning ensured that all other essential components are concealed from public view as specifically required by Mexx.
