Tagmax are pleased to announce that we will be bringing you another cloud-hosted IP CCTV security service later this year.

In the past we have written about our IP CCTV security systems, and we feel that they are an incredibly beneficial method of monitoring surveillance footage – IP CCTV security systems and cameras are more convenient, secure and accessible way of protecting your business or home.

We also feel that Stratocast is the future of this division of Tagmax.

So what is Stratocast?

Stratocast is self-described as being 'security at your fingertips', which seems appropriate for a world that is becoming increasingly dependent on tablets, touchscreen smartphones and Wi-Fi.

It feels like the most common use of these combined technologies is to play games, read a book or browse the internet while you are on the train home from work, but security systems also have their place on the cloud.

An affordable, easy-to-use, sophisticated, powerful solution for surveillance video management, Stratocast allows users to stream and monitor their CCTV footage (in HD) when and wherever it suits them.

Genetec launched Stratocast in January 2013, and Tagmax will be launching the service later this year on September 1st.
